Men Scholar-Athletes | Women Scholar-Athletes
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) recently announced their NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athletes for track and field with five Argos earning the distinction for their exemplary work in the classroom.
The NAIA recognized 516 females and 341 males with track and field Scholar-Athlete commendations nationally.
For student-athletes to qualify, they must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5 and must have achieved at least junior academic status.
Seniors Peyton Jones and Conor McGee, and juniors Zebadiah Boos and James Gerber each earned the honors for the men, while Baylee Green was the sole recipient for the women.
Jones, McGee, and Boos all qualified and earned trips to the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships this past weekend for their stellar outdoor seasons.
