CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference announced that 19 Argos earned U.S. Bank Academic All-Conference Honors Friday.  

Seniors Miranda Alley, Mel Alvarado-Lopez, Malan Flygare, Rane Jackson, Ernestina S. Ofori, junior Kailey Camper, and sophomores Simona Rizzon, Mattiah Murillo, and Shea Waters all maintained a minimum of a 3.2 GPA to earn this honor.

On the men's soccer program seniors Marcus John, Tomeu Nebot Schmalfeld, Vincent Stoppel, Bryan Olivera, and sophomores Juan Alonzo, Teddy Benbow, Gino Badalow, Santi Jaramillo Ortiz, Thomas Sine, and Geovanni Lugo also maintained a 3.2 GPA to be selected as CCC Academic All-Conference.

Athletic Director Doug Hashley on the athlete's success in the classroom stated, "Our athletes do a wonderful job competing out on the pitch but are also stellar students in the classroom. They continue to strive for excellence in all aspects of being a student-athlete and we are thankful to have them at the University of Providence."
