HAVRE, Mont. – The No. 4 University of Providence wrestling team was narrowly edged out on Wednesday by the No. 3 MSU-Northern Lights, 21-18. The Argos fell to 2-1 on the season, while the Lights improved to 3-0.

Michael Lefuel opened things up in the 125-weight class, falling to No, 8 Nick Kunz in a 6-0 decision to put the Lights up by three, 3-0.
MSU-Northern's No. 15 Landon Bailey won by forfeit at 133 pounds to give the Lights a 9-0 lead.
In a hugely competitive match, Providence's
TJ Baun and No. 1 Matt Weber. Baun battled in a hotely contested match with the top-ranked wrestler in the weight class, being only slightly edged out in a very close 9-7 decision.
The Argos' No. 6
Shonn Roberts earned the only pin of the evening as he defeated the Lights' Tony Evans at the 1:59 mark of the bout to cut the match deficit in half, 12-6.
In the Argos biggest upset of the night, No. 3
Casey Dobson picked up another key victory for the Argos as he defeated the No. 2 ranked Brandon Weber in a 4-1 decision to bring the Argos within three, 12-9.
The Lights were able to pick up another win as No. 1 Andrew Bartel defeated Providence's
Jarren Komac following an 8-3 decision to push their lead back to six, 15-9.

Adrian Lyons-Lopez earned a 5-2 win over No. 4 Chris Nile at 165 pounds to put the Argos back within three, 15-12.
The Lights earned an upset of their own as the Argos' No. 10
Tyler Webley fell in a 9-2 decision to No. 12 Steeler French to tally three more points for the Lights, 18-12.
MSU-Northern added another victory at 197 pounds as No. 2 Isaac Bartel claimed a 4-2 decision over Providence's No. 8
John Hensley, to put seal the Lights victory, 21-12.
Matt Hopkins claimed a forfeit victory for the Argos at 285 pounds to finish out the match, 21-18.
