GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Argo hockey (4-5-1) dropped a heartbreaker to the Montana State Bobcats (9-5) on Saturday, 6-2.
Josh Larson and
Leo Felt both led the Argos with a score each. Hendrickson led the Argos in assists as he tallied a stake in both of the Argos' scores.
The Argos got on the board first as they tallied two goals during the 16-minute mark of the match, 2-0. The first came from Larson, with assists from
Cody Hendrickson and
Leo Felt. While the second one was netted by Felt who handled a puck from
Cody Hendrickson and
Gabriel Kwiatkowski.
The Bobcats responded with three goals in the final 10 minutes of the opening period to take their first lead of the match, 3-2.
Montana State tallied two more goals in the second period at the 12- and six-minute marks to push their lead to three, 5-2.
One final goal in the final period would seal the four-point victory for the Bobcats, 6-2.
