BOTTINEAU, N.D. – Argo men's hockey (7-5-1) claimed an overtime victory over the Dakota College at Bottineau Lumberjacks (7-8) on Sunday evening, 4-3.
 
Leo Felt led all scorers in the win with two goals, while Jeron Hirschfeld and Josh Larson netted one each. Gabriel Kwiatkowski tallied a team-high two assists.
 
The Lumberjacks got on the board first following a goal at the 15-minute mark, 1-0.
 
Less than four minutes later, Leo Felt responded for the Argos after netting a puck sent from Parker Hanson to tie up the match at one.
 
Josh Larson connected on a puck in the final seconds of the first period to give the Argos the advantage after 20, 2-1.
 
The Argos extended their lead to two only 15 seconds into the second period following another goal from Felt, who handled a puck from Trevor Checketts and Jeron Hirschfeld, 3-1.
 
Dakota College responded a minute later to cut the deficit back down to one, 3-2. The Argos would maintain their one-point advantage heading into the final period.
 
The third period was very quiet for most of it, until the final minute. With only 33 seconds remaining, the Lumberjacks were able to net a shot to knot things up at three and send the game into an extra period.
 
However, the Argos found success with a little over a minute remaining as Hirschfeld would land the game winning shot to lift the Argos to the overtime victory, 4-3.
