Great Falls, Mont. - The University of Providence couldn't muster a goal in the final period, losing 4-2 to the Utah State Aggies on Thursday night.
"I thought we played okay," head coach
Jeff Heimel said. "We had a lot of scoring opportunities just didn't capitalize. We didn't play bad, but we didn't play good enough to win. We need to bury our shots."
Both teams scored a goal a piece each period, but the Argos couldn't find the back of the net in the final period. They pulled the goalie with a little over three minutes, resulting in a goal for the Aggies.
The Argos will take the ice again Friday night when they take on Brigham Young at 7:05 p.m. at the Great Falls Ice Plex.
"We have to have a short term memory," Heimel said. "We play 30 games a year. We have to take what we can and learn from it and then put it aside and not dwell on it. Good teams don't lose two in a row."
