Great Falls, Mont. - After opening the wrestling season with a strong showing at the Northwest Wyoming Classic Saturday at Powell, Wyoming, the University of Providence men's team hosts its first home dual of the year Wednesday hosting rival MSU-Northern.

The Argos are ranked 15th in the NAIA with the Lights ranking number 18. It will be a great night of wrestling at the McLaughlin Center and Providence is feeling confident after picking up winners in four weight classes and had a total of 16 in the top four at Powell. Joel Avila, Aden Graves, Sawyer Hobbs, and KC Buday all picked up season opening championships and will look to stay unbeaten against MSU-Northern.

"We are fortunate to have a great collegiate competitor so close with MSU-Northern and we look forward to these duals every year as does our fan base," says Argo Head Coach Steve Komac. "Northern's fan base travels well and we think people will get to watch some excellent wrestling this Wednesday. The dual will be very competitive and should live up to the hype that goes into this matchup.

"Both teams have numerous kids ranked in the top 20 nationally. We have a few bumps and bruises and will likely miss 1-2 of our regular starters but we have good depth and will field a competitive lineup. We wrestled well last weekend, and we want to build on that in events like this."

The dual starts at 7 PM Wednesday inside the McLaughlin Center and can be viewed at www.upargos.com.
