GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- The University of Providence men's wrestling program defeated #21 Eastern Oregon University 28-15 in a dual Thursday night.

The Argos (5-1) would lose the first two matches to go down 9-0, but redshirt freshman Tristan Bremer would pick up the first UP win defeating Josh Collings 14-5.

The Argos would not stop there with #20 redshirt freshman Jalen Vladic sealing his victory with a clutch reversal to bring the match within one.

#10 sophomore Aden Graves, #18 redshirt sophomore Bridger Hall, and #11 redshirt senior Jordan Komac would make it five straight victories for the Argos with Graves defeating Travis Sherman by TF, Hall by major decision over Cody Glenn, and Komac by decision against Wylee Lindeen.

Eastern Oregon would win the 184 match to shorten the Argo lead to 5 but at 197 redshirt junior Caleb Werner defeated #14 Jay Smith to secure the dual victory for UP.

In the Heavyweight match, #2 redshirt senior KC Buday continued his dominant start to the season defeating Darrian Hoobery 19-2.

The Argos will be back in action Jan. 5-6 for National Duals in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Matches will begin at 8:00 a.m. at Alliant Energy Powerhouse.
