GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- The University of Providence men's wrestling program will start their season on Nov. 4 when they visit Powell, Wyo. for the Trapper Open. They will stay on the road to compete against Montana State University Northern and then travel to Des Moines, Iowa for the Grand View Open. The Argos first home event is on Nov. 16 at 6 p.m. when they host North Idaho College at the McLaughlin Center.

UP will then go back on the road for the Spokane Open in Spokane, Wash. before hosting the Battle of the Rockies on Dec. 1- 2. The Argos then welcome Eastern Oregon University on Dec. 7 for a dual. After winter break, the Argos will travel to Cedar Falls, Iowa for National Duals on Jan. 6-7. 

UP's last home event of the season is on Jan. 27 when they host Southern Oregon University at the McLaughlin Center at 3 p.m. The Argos then travel to Arizona to wrestle Vanguard University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and Arizona Christian University on Feb. 1-2.

The Argos will finish their regular season Feb. 8 when they travel to Billings, Mont. for a dual versus MSU Northern at Lockwood High School. The Cascade Collegiate Conference Tournament then follows on Feb. 16-17 in LaGrande, Ore.

Head coach Steve Komac stated, "We are very excited for the upcoming season. We return all three of our All-Americans from last year and six of seven national qualifiers. We have several young guys returning that we believe in and a good recruiting class behind them. We've grown a lot in the last couple of years and feel we are headed in a very good direction."
