#6 Argos Host #15 SOU for Ranked Dual

GREAT FALLS, MONT. -- The University of Providence men's wrestling program hosts #15 Southern Oregon University for senior night on Saturday. Wrestlers will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the McLaughlin Center.  

Last Time Out
The Argos placed 6th out of 45 teams at the Missouri Valley Invitational. Sophomore Abel Nava Jr. placed first and picked up three ranked wins, defeating #23 in the quarterfinals, #8 in the semifinals, and #11 in the championship. Freshman Pig Hobbs also had a highlight win defeating the returning NAIA national champion and #2 ranked wrestler in the third-place match.

UP is currently ranked #6 in the NAIA poll and have 12 wrestlers ranked in the top 25.

The Raiders were ranked #15 in the latest NAIA poll which is their highest ranking over the past six years. SOU has six wrestlers ranked in the top 25 including #1 Evan Potter at 141.
