GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence men's wrestling program defeated #19 MSU-Northern 21-20 Wednesday night.

The Argos won the first four matches of the dual courtesy of #22 junior Kobi Johnson starting things off for UP with a TF victory. At 141 Dante Reviglio also picked up a TF victory, and both #24 Na'u McBrayer and Irish Furthmyre won their matches via major decision to put UP ahead 18-0.

The Argos would lose next three matches but at 184 #3 Abel Nava Jr. moved up a weight class to wrestle #3 Rylin Burns and after he secured the escape point in the second period, he was able to stay on top for the entirety of the third to win the match 2-0, and secure the dual for UP 21-20.  

The Argos will be back in action Oct. 8 when they travel to Powell, Wyo. Wrestlers will begin at 6:00 p.m. versus Northwest College.
