ATHERTON, Calif. – The University of Providence women's wrestling program brought home three titles and placed third as a team at the Cascade Collegiate Conference Tournament Sunday.

#1 sophomore Erin Hikiji, #7 freshman Paige Morales, and #4 junior Waipuilani Estrella-Beauchamp were all crowned champions Sunday.

Hikiji dominated on her way to the 101-title defeating #19 Karly Scott 10-0 in the semifinals and defeating #3 Kayla McKinley-Johnson 12-1 in the championship. With her impressive performance, Hikiji was named the most outstanding wrestler of the CCC Tournament.

Morales went 3-0 at the CCC tournament defeating Jacqueline Palacencia 12-0 in the quarterfinals, #16 Liv Villanueva 10-0 in the semifinals, and #2 Emma Bartlein 4-3 in the championship to take home the 109-title.

Estrella-Beauchamp also went 3-0 on Sunday pinning Piper Hall in the quarterfinals (0:32), pinning #11 Desinee Lopez in the semifinals (1:38), and defeating #7 River Todd 12-10 in the championship to take home the 136-title.

The Argos also had seven other wrestlers qualify for the NAIA National Tournament in #11 freshman Ani Arias and #15 freshman Isabelle Asuncion at 116, #14 sophomore Alicia Frank at 123, #4 freshman Alyssa Randles and #9 senior Paige Respicio at 130, #16 sophomore Kailey Rees at 143, and #5 junior Sadie Antoque at 155.

The Argos will be back in action March 8-9 at the NAIA National Championship in Jamestown N.D.
