GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence men's wrestling team hosts Eastern Oregon on Saturday in Great Falls. Wrestlers will begin at 12:00 p.m. in the McLaughlin Center.
 
Last Time Out
The Argos went 3-0 at the Battle of the Rockies Duals defeating the University of Idaho 57-0, North Idaho College 31-21, and Snow College 44-8.  Sophomore Spencer Johnson also placed first at the Battle of the Rockies defeating Paul Thompson 13-4, Thomas Rousseau 7-2, and defeated Taran Goring 13-10 in sudden victory in the championship match.

The Argos were ranked #13 in the latest NAIA Top 25 poll with 8 individual wrestlers ranked in the top 25 of their respective weight classes in #1 Pig Hobbs (157), #3 Sawyer Hobbs (184), #8 Brendan Lockart (197), #11 Ethan DeRoche (285), #17 Cade White (149), #20 Jalen Vladic (165), #20 Irish Furthmyre (157), and #22 Blaze Sumiye (165).
 
Eastern Oregon
The Mountaineers were receiving votes in the latest NAIA Top 25 Poll and have four wrestlers ranked in the top 25 of their respective weight classes in #8 Nicolas Rodriguez (285), #20 Eric Karas (197), #21 Kai Carson (133), and #25 Cole Cross (149). The Argos are 7-1 in their history versus the Mountaineers taking the most recent matchup 22-15 in 2024.
