HAVRE, Mont. – The University of Providence men's wrestling team ended the regular season with a 23-18 victory over #13 MSU-Northern Wednesday night.

UP started the dual off with four straight victories beginning with an upset at 125 with senior Tanner Ulrey dominating #10 Kolten Powers 15-4.

At 133 sophomore Dre Coles defeating Caleb Morales 2-1, #13 Tristan Bremer followed with a pin in 1:29, and #10 Jalen Vladic defeated Caeleb Ishmael 12-4 to put UP ahead 17-0.

UP would fall at 157, but at 165 sophomore Blaze Sumiye picked up a ranked win defeating #13 Travis Waldner 7-5 in the second overtime.

Following a loss for the Argos at 174, #5 junior Sawyer Hobbs defeated #9 Rylin Burns 4-1 to secure the dual for UP 23-18.

The Argos will be back in action Feb. 21-22 when they travel to Redding, Calif. for the Cascade Collegiate Conference Tournament.
