SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The University of Providence men's hockey program fell to the University of Utah 4-1 Friday night.
The Utes (2-1) scored the first goal of the game on a power-play just over five minutes into the contest, and despite a pair of breakaway opportunities for senior

Kage Yellowfly, Utah added a pair of goals over the final three minutes of the period as UP went into the break trailing 3-0.
Both teams went back-and-forth throughout the second period until the Utes added their fourth goal of the game with 18 seconds remaining to put Utah ahead 4-0 heading into the third.
The Argos (3-2) added a goal with a minute left in the third period when junior
Daniel Tainton found junior
AJ Belanger on the two-on-one break and he buried the one-timer to cut the deficit to three.
The Argos pressured over the final 90 seconds but were unable to find the back of the net as UP fell to the University of Utah 4-1.
The Argos will be back in action on Saturday, Oct. 3 when they head to Logan, Utah for a matchup with Utah State at 7:00 p.m. (MST).Â
