Biography
Awards Won at UP: Named Conference Athlete of the Week five times. Holds the discus, hammer throw and weight throw records at UP. Named an Academic All-American.Â
Before UP: Played cross country, basketball and track and field in high school. Was first athlete in Wisconsin to qualify for state track and the discus throw. Placed 9th at state. Voted team captain in cross country, basketball and track. Member of National Honors Society. Named to Presidential Honor roll all four years.Â
