Biography
AS AN ARGO – 2014-15: In his second year with the track and cross country programs. 2013-14: Placed 46th at the Frontier Conference cross country championships as a freshman... Had a personal best time of 28:35 (8km)… Indoors: Ran 9:53.85 for the 3000 meter race distance. Outdoors: Ran 17:15.18 at the U of M Al Manual Meet in Missoula to set a personal best time in the 5,000-meters.
BEFORE UGF: Earned two letters in cross country and one in track while competing for the Coeur d’Alene (Idaho) High Vikings… Was an alternate on the 2011 Idaho Class 5A state championship team… Qualified for the National Junior Olympic cross country event in 2012.
PERSONAL: Majoring in mathematics and secondary education… Enjoys camping, fishing, watching movies, Whiffle Ball, and playing other sports… Favorite athlete is Steve Prefontaine… Favorite food is Chinese… Favorite movie is Mickey… Volunteered with Coeur d’Alene Eagles Special Olympics… Born Matthew Robb in Dalton Gardens, Idaho.
