Vant joined the University of Providence staff in July of 2026 as the Head Men's Hockey Coach after serving as the assistant coach and assistant general manager for the Atlantic City Seals. Vant attended High School in Marmora, New Jersey before playing for the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers and the Skylands Kings in Junior Hockey prior to playing ACHA for five seasons at Aurora University. Following his playing career, Vant coached the Atlantic City Sharks 16U and 18U, was the head coach at Mainland Regional High School, and was most recently the assistant coach and assistant general manager for the Atlantic City Seals Junior EHLP Team.
