Walker Fisher

Walker is entering his third season as the assistant women’s wrestling coach at Providence. In year one he helped lead the Argos to their best finish in school history, ranking fifth nationally.

The 2023-2024 season saw UP name five All-Americans and finished fourth at National Duals for their highest finish in program history. 

The 2022-2023 season saw UP name six All-Americans including Ira Navarro who won the first National Championship in program history.  

In his collegiate career, Walker wrestled for four years at Concordia University in Nebraska where he was a national qualifier. He then coached high school wrestling for three years at Columbus High School in Montana where he led the Cougars to three top 10 finishes. In his last season they had the highest tournament finish in school history.  

When he is not hunting, he likes to time spend time with his daughter Kensley and wife Genevieve.
