Joey Egan

Joey enters her 14th season as the head softball coach of the Argos. Prior to taking over the program Egan spent five years as an assistant coach. 

In 2015, Egan led the program to the semifinals of the Cascade Conference Tournament and finished the season with a 28-18 record. The following season The Lady Argonauts finished inside the top 20 and advanced to the NAIA National Tournament.  

Egan played collegiately at NCAA Division II Montana State University – Billings and was inducted into their athletic hall of fame in 2011. 

In her collegiate career Egan was a second-team All-PacWest Conference honoree in 2002 and 2003. During her senior year Egan was a first team all-conference, PacWest pitcher of the year, second-team All-West Region, and was named to the NCAA Division II West Region All-Tournament Team. She was also the MSU-B female athlete of the year and the Little Sullivan Award winner in 2005. 

The daughter of former UP athletic director Gary Ehnes, Joey is married to Teague Egan. They have two children.
