Andrej Slavik's three blocks helped seal the deal for the Argos. UGF shot 42.9 percent from the field and with 13 total steals, were able to get the 25-point win.

In the first nine minutes, the Argos set themselves up to get the win. Two free throws and a 3-pointer by Oliver Jr. put UGF up 25-9, and they kept moving forward from there. The Argo defense did not allow a single Centurion shot to fall until six minutes remaining before halftime. The rest of the game was a similar story, and the Argos went into the half with a 51-21 lead.

For the Argos:
- UGF had three players score in double figures, and the team shot 33 percent from behind the arc.
- Issac Howard provided a boost from 3-point range, going 2-3 from downtown.
- UGF scored 32 points off turnovers, with 27 points in the first half, compared to YCC's 8 points off of turnovers.
- The bench provided a boost for the Argos, providing 38 total points.
- The Argos scored 18 points in the paint in both halves, for a total of 36.
- Jarred Burr was another key player in the UGF win, posting 5 assists and 5 rebounds.

- YCC was coming off games against Frontier Conference schools Rocky Mountain College and Montana Tech. The Centurions lost by eight points to Rocky and took the Diggers to overtime.
- Stefan Tellis was the lone YCC player in double figures, with 13 points.
- The Centurions gave up 28 turnovers, compared to UGF's 14.
