KIRKLAND, Wash. – The University of Providence women's soccer team fell to the Northwest Eagles 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles led in shots during the first half, 7-2, however neither team could net a shot as the match remained scoreless headed into the break.
Northwest broke the tie in the 63
rd minute on their fifth shot of the second period, 1-0.
The Argos attempted to rally in the final minutes as they tallied the last two shots of the match, but nothing would net for the Argos in the loss.
Eme McLaughlin led the Argos with two shots, while teammates
Malena Lennon and
Soraya Alfaro tallied the Argos two other shots.

The Argos will look to claim their playoff spot next weekend as they return home to host the Southern Oregon Raiders on October 26 and the Oregon Tech Owls on senior day, October 27.
