WHITEFISH, Mont. Oct. 14, 2019 – Rocky Mountain College and the University of Providence student-athletes were selected Frontier Conference Volleyball Players of the Week.

Attacker of the Week:
Kelsey Shaver, University of Providence, a 5-foot-9 senior outside hitter from Scotts Valley, California.
Shaver averaged 4.43 kills per set with a .269 attack percentage. She averaged 3.64 digs per set. This is the third time Kelsey has been recognized for her outstanding ability to attack the ball.Â
Number 20 ranked Providence went 2-2 for the weekend at the Grand View tournament. The Argos lost to No. 4 Viterbo (Wis.) 0-3 and No. 12 Grand View (Iowa) 2-3 and defeated Ottawa (Kan.) 3-2 and St. Ambrose (Iowa) 3-1.
Argos that played well and were nominated for Frontier Player of the Week this week Included
Averi Dyer and
Cydney Finberg-Roberts.
Averi had a total of 82 digs, averaged 4.82 per set. She also had 6 aces throughout the weekend.
Nominated for setter of the week
Cydney Finberg-Roberts. She had 125 total assists on the weekend, and 64 of those coming in the Grand View, (Iowa) match.
The UP-Volleyball team will look to avenge an earlier lose to Mt-Tech this Friday night in Butte.
