Argos Continue Hot Streak Into Portland

Portland, Oregon – The University of Providence continued the momentum they built last weekend with a 3-0 victory over Multnomah.

Adri Contreras got on the board first for the Argos (4-5, 5-8) off the assist from Kate Sisler. Eme McLaughlin scored the next two goals in the second half, the second one assisted by Bri Wikert.

"I'm really pleased we got three points today," head coach Brian Clarke said. "Credit to Multnomah and their keeper who made some great saves. Adri gave us a good spark coming off the bench and throughout the game."

The Argos attempted 19 shots compared to the Lions (0-7, 2-9) two. Trisha Preist recorded 12 saves on the day.

The Argos take the field again Saturday when they face Warner Pacific (2-5, 2-8) at 2 p.m.
