La Grande, Oreg. - On the second leg of a conference road trip, the University of Providence women's soccer team fell to #6 Eastern Oregon 4-0.
Nan Kiebert got things going for the Mountaineers (3-0-1, 7-0-1) in the 17th minute off the assist from Cailin Koupal. In the second half, Abri Cardenas started things off, scoring off the assist from Kiebert. Mackinley Gregus then scored on a penalty kick, followed by a goal from Koupal.
"The stats speak for themselves," head coach Brian Clarke said. "It was a tale of two halves."
The Argos (1-5, 2-8) attempted nine shots, four of which were on target. Goalie Dakota Neumann recorded seven saves.
The Argos will look to bounce back at home on Friday, October 11 at 3:30 p.m. against Corban University (4-1-1, 7-3-1).
