Billings, Mont. – The University of Providence women's basketball team fell behind early and had to play catch up in an exhibition game against Montana State Billings, (MSUB). At the end of the first quarter UP was down 26-10, having a hard time getting the outside game established. The Argos shot 39.5 percent  for the game compared to 52.3 percent for the MSUB Yellowjackets and with that percentage, Yellowjackets earned the win Saturday night 91-59.

Argos were led in scoring by Parker Esary and Emilee Maldonado both getting 15 points, while Molly Schmitz doubled her game average scoring 9 points and grabbing 5 rebounds.

The Argo women's basketball team returns home for their next game, Friday, November 16 in which they will take on Corban University. The start time for that contest will be moved to the afternoon at 2:30 PM as the Frontier Conference Volleyball Tournament is taking place the same weekend in the McLaughlin Center.
