Great Falls, Mont. - University of Providence Men's basketball team routed the Pilots of Providence University from Manitoba, Canada, Saturday night with a score of 112 to 58.
The Argos had seven players score in double figures. They were led by Dawson Fowler with 16 points, Zaccheus Darko-Kelly added 15 and close behind was Tyree Whitcomb with 14.
Argos got off to a hot start and never looked back, shooting 73 % in the first half from the field and 77% from behind the three-point line. More impressive was the Argos shooting .875 % on the free throw line for the entire game making 14 of 16.
 "We came out ready to go, didn't know much about the Pilots, but we played our type of game. We had 74 in the first half, so in the second half we just tried to run our offense and get everyone some minutes tonight," Coach Keller said after the game.
The Argos led at halftime 74-35, and after the intermission went on to extend their lead and pick up the victory 112-58.
University of Providence will go on the road next week as they take on Dixie State University in St. George, Utah then to Salt Lake City, Utah to battle Westminster College November 15-16, 2019.
