BILLINGS, Mont. – University of Providence Women never trailed in the game Saturday and went on to a convincing win over Bethesda University 90-53 from the Hampton Inn Green and Gold Classic in Billings.
"A lot of team effort today, lot of playing time for a lot of different people. Nice to score 90 points on 25 assist and we only had 12 turnovers which I'm pleased about. Two and 0 on the weekend and now it's time to turn full attention to the Frontier Conference," commented Head Coach Bill Himmelberg after the contest on Saturday.
Argo Senior, Jenna Randich, had a nice afternoon scoring 19-points and Junior Parker Esary was close behind with 18.
Bethesda University had three players in double digits. Leading the way was Megan Burt with 17, Denshay Wallace 15, and Tanika Stephenson chipped in with 10 in the loss.
Argo women will take on Montana State University Northern January 9, 2020 in the McLaughlin Center and then travel to Helena Saturday, January 11, 2020. Both games will be Frontier Conference match ups.
