UP Volleyball back on winning track

Box Score Lewiston, Idaho- The University of Providence rebounded after a lost to Mt-Tech on Thursday to pick up a win in Lewiston, Idaho this past weekend. They battled Lewis- Clark State College winning in straight sets 25-23, 25-23, 25-22.

Senior, Kelsey Shaver led the way for the University of Providence with 15 kills. Head Coach Arunas Duda said after the match, "We played more as a team today. It was good to see our team rebound after the match from the other night. (UP vs Mt-Tech) I feel we took care of the ball today, our passing was much better, and we gave our hitters a chance to finish the point." Coach went on to say, "We challenged our team to finish the game when the scores got close down the stretch. We needed to finish out the match and I feel the team responded in a positive way by winning three close games."

It will be a short week as the Argos will get home late Saturday night to prepare for Montana State Northern Wednesday night at 7:00 P.M. in Havre.
