GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The 8
th ranked University of Providence men's basketball team fell to #12 Lewis-Clark State 96-65 Saturday night.
The Warriors were lights out from beyond the arc, shooting 42% on the night compared to the Argos 14%. The Argos also allowed 14 offensive rebounds in a game where they were outrebounded by 15.
"I'm disappointed in our effort," head coach
Steve Keller said. "We didn't come out ready to play. We didn't guard the three-point line which we knew we had to do. I thought we played a lot harder the second half but we have to start playing hard the first half."
The Argos will hit the floor again on Thursday when they take on Rocky Mountain College in Billings. They'll return to the McLaughlin Center Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. against Montana Western.
