LA GRANDE, Ore. – The 9
th ranked University of Providence men's wrestling team defeated #18 Eastern Oregon 34-9 Saturday evening.
"Eastern Oregon is a very good team and we wrestled very well tonight," interim head coach
Steve Komac said. "The Eastern Oregon program had a very nice event tonight with a great crowd and that always gets you fired excited to compete. Our kids stepped up and competed very well."
Clayton Gilliam (133 lbs.),
Shonn Roberts (149 lbs.),
Casey Dobson (157 lbs.),
Jordan Komac (165 lbs.),
John Hensley (197 lbs.) and
Justin Harbison (285 lbs.) all won their individual matches during the dual. Roberts, Hensley and Harbison all recorded pins.

Casey Dobson back in the lineup," Komac said. "Roberts, Hensley and Harbison continue to be leaders recording pins and
Jordan Komac looked very good over the 18
th ranked wrestler in the NAIA. Gilliam also had a nice win for us tonight. Overall it was great day of wrestling."
The Argos will return to the mats on Friday, February 7 against #12 Embry-Riddle for senior night at 7 p.m. in the McLaughlin Center.
