HELENA, Mont. – The University of Providence men's basketball team fell to Carroll 69-65 Friday night in Helena in the Frontier Conference Semifinals.

The Argos were down three with six seconds left, but Zaccheus Darko-Kelly's couldn't connect on a three-point attempt from the corner.

"We played hard," head coach Steve Keller said. "We played so hard. We had a chance. We didn't turn it over as much as we have the other times we played them. We just have to make some of those. If we were 7/24 we might have won."

Jaxen Hashley led the Argos with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Darko-Kelly finished with 13 points, five rebounds and five assists, while Brandon Cotton finished with 10 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.  

Shamrock Campbell led the Fighting Saints with 17 points, including 3 three-pointers. Dane Warp added 16.

The Argos only made five three-pointers off of 24 attempts. The Argos also allowed 15 offensive rebounds.

"We have to make open shots," head coach Steve Keller said. "We got good looks. We were 5/24 from three. We just have to make shots and we didn't."

The Argos will wait and find out their seed in the Division I National Tournament when the bracket is revealed Wednesday evening.
