SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Five players scored in double-figures as the University of Providence women's basketball team got their fourth and final win of their road trip, defeating Saint Katherine 75-58 Saturday night.
Brooklyn Harn continued her recent hot streak, leading the team with 18 points.
Kerstyn Pimperton also had a great night for the Argos (4-1), scoring 15 points on five three-pointers.
Emilee Maldonado recorded 13 points, seven rebounds and six assists.
Parker Esary scored 12 points and
Maddy Dixon added 10 points.
"Having five different girls score in double-figures was awesome," head coach
Bill Himmelberg said. "Kerstyn was due for a good game so I'm glad she did that. I was really happy with how we shared the ball and moved it."
As a team the Argos recorded 22 assists of their 31 made field goals. The Argos shot 44.3% from the field, including 33% from beyond the arc. Harn and Pimperton knocked down nine three-pointers between the two of them.
The win marks the fourth straight win for the Argos, who have gone undefeated on the four-game road trip. The Argos will return home next weekend, with two home games scheduled against Central Baptist and Corban.
"Overall it was a good victory and a good road trip," Himmelberg said. "I'm really proud of the girls. We continued to get better and better every game."
