GREAT FALLS, Mont. –
Ben Kaul shot a 69 in the final round, one stroke above the highest score on the day, to shoot up the leaderboard, ending tied for 7
th at the Battlin' Bear Invite in Billings, Mont.
Kaul finished with a 214, one stroke above par, over the course of the three rounds.
Colton Stodghill was behind him at a 217 (+4), which landed him tied for 11
th.
Connor Mora ended up with a 222 (+9), tied for 14
th.
Jake Henderson and
Josh Warp tied with each other at 23, ending with a 230 (+17).
Trenton Olson was tied for 26
th after finishing three strokes behind them at 233 (+20).
The men's team shot a 295 on the final day, ending with a score of 880 (+28). They were 11 strokes behind Rocky Mountain's B team (+17). Rocky Mountain College won the event with an 843 (-9).
On the women's side,
Kielar Jones stayed in 13
th, ending with a 176 (+34).
Kate Murack finished 20
th with a score of 187 (+45). The women did not get a team score because they did not have enough eligible golfers.
The event today will conclude the fall season for the Argos. They will next compete in the spring at the Frontier Conference Championship on April 18 in Eagle, Idaho.
