Argos Prepare for Rematch Against Lights

GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence men's wrestling team will prepare for a rematch Thursday evening when they take on Montana State-Northern in a conference dual. The Argos will also take on Northwest College in a dual preceding the Lights matchup.

"We're really excited to compete on our home floor," head coach Steve Komac said. "We haven't had a chance to do that yet this season so as a whole the team is excited."

The Argos will kick off the home dual against the Trappers from Northwest Junior College. Though young this season, the program consistently churns out competitive wrestlers.

"They are one of the top junior colleges in the region," Komac said. "They're a younger team this year, but their guys usually go on to have successful careers. Coach Ziegler does an awesome job there and we're excited for the opportunity to compete against them."

The Argos are 4-0 on the season and have already defeated the Lights earlier in the season. Komac is expecting their rival to come out aggressive and hungry for revenge.

"We're definitely expecting them to respond," Komac said. "This dual has a lot of implications for the National Tournament, so we're anticipating a whole new dual. We're going to try to repeat the success we had against them and they're going to do their best to not let that happen."
