EAGLE, Idaho – Four Argos finished in the Top 15 at the Frontier Conference Championship after the final round took place in Eagle, Idaho on Wednesday.
Jonny Cielak was the highest ranked Argo, finishing tied for seventh with a +23. He was eight strokes behind the leader.
Ben Kaul shot a 77, his best round of the three-day tournament, to finish 11
th with a +31.
Colton Stodghill finished tied for 12
th with a +52.
On the women's side,
Kielar Jones shot an 88 in the final round, six strokes better than her Tuesday round and 14 strokes better than her first round on Monday. She moved up one spot to finish 11
th with a final of +71.
Carroll College won the women's side, edging out Rocky Mountain by two strokes. The Argos finished fifth with a total of +454. The Battlin' Bears were victorious on the men's side, defeating the Orediggers of Montana Tech by 12
th stroke. The Argo men's team didn't have enough players to field a team, and only competed individually.
This will conclude the season for the University of Providence golf team, who only got a single dual in before the Frontier Conference Tournament this week.
