VICTORIA, Texas – The University of Providence Golf programs wrapped up their season at the Red River and Frontier Conference Championship Wednesday. Both teams shot three rounds at the Victoria Country Club.
Freshman
Colby Friedrich had the best outing for the Argos shooting an 81 in his opening round and a pair of 77's to finish tied for 22
nd. Senior
Jake Henderson also had a solid week shooting a pair of 80's and an 81 to finish in 32
nd.
On the women's side senior
Kate Murack was the highlight for the Argos shooting back-to-back 94's before finishing the tournament with a 91 in her final round to place 23
rd.
Head Coach
Spencer Williams stated, "Even though we didn't get the results we wanted, we learned a lot. The teams have never competed in a hot and humid environment before, but they tried hard, and many improved each day. It's been a great year!"
