"It just wasn't our day," interim head coach
Michael Rahn said. "We didn't do what we wanted to do and they did what they wanted to do. They dictated the game. We gave up a lot of goals that we shouldn't give up. We were our own worst enemy. We didn't play the way I know we can."
The Argos (0-2) attempted five shots on the day, three of which were on target. The Argos also managed to get one corner kick.
The game will conclude the non-conference schedule for the Argos, who will begin conference play next Saturday, Sept. 18. They'll take on the Battlin' Bears of Rocky Mountain College at 1:00 p.m. at Argo Field.
"I'm hoping that this week of practice we can improve and grow in our positions and as units," Rahn said. "Hopefully next weekend against Rocky we can fight back and get a result."
