Great Falls, Mont. - Frontier volleyball heats back up Saturday for the University of Providence as the Argos travel to Montana Tech to begin the second half of the conference season. The Argos are 0-5 in the Frontier and carry a 7-16 overall mark into play. They will face an Oredigger squad that is 20-6 on the season, 5-0 in league play and has won 10 straight matches including a 3-1 victory over Providence last month. The entire Frontier Conference had a bye week from league play last weekend, so it has been two weeks since the Argos faced an opponent in a different jersey.

Montana Tech is led by Maureen Jessop who has totaled 336 kills on the season and had nine kills against the Argos in the first meeting. Olivia Muir and Taylor Henley combined for 25 kills in the first matchup. Against Tech the first time, Jenna Thorne and Adysen Burns each tallied 13 kills with both in double digits in digs as well.

There are still five matches to play to gain momentum for the conference tournament and Argo Head Coach Arunas Duda says his team is ready to get back on the court, "We are really excited and looking forward to playing an actual match once again. This break has been great for rest and improvement, as we have had the opportunity to do a lot of teaching and dissect several aspects of our game that have been troublesome. We are looking at this second half of the conference as a great opportunity for us to continue to improve as we head towards the conference tournament. I believe that our best volleyball is still ahead of us, and our group has been diligent in working hard to reach our highest potential."

The match Saturday starts at 6:00 PM from the HPER Complex. For live streaming and stats, visit www.upargos.com.
