GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- The University of Providence men's hockey program visits Montana State University on Oct. 19. Puck drop is scheduled for 8:45 p.m. at Gallatin Ice in Bozeman, Mont.
Head coach
Christian Vivian on this weekend's matchups stated, "We have a huge opportunity tomorrow to compete against one of the top teams in the nation. It should be a really good test for us as a group to see where we stack up and put our name on the map as a top team in the conference."
Last Time Out
The Argos went 2-1 over Argo weekend at the Great Falls Ice Plex. In the first game they defeated Weber State 8-5 but fell 5-1 to Utah State University in game two. Â In their final game of the weekend, they defeated Utah Valley University 7-1.
Season Leaders
Freshman
Adam Husli is the goal leader after scoring eight so far this season. Husli also has the second most points on the team with 12. Senior
Jakob Stevenson is second on the team in goals with five and has the most points on the team with 15. Freshman
Chris Fines is the save leader for the Argos, tallying 181 in four games so far this season.
Montana State University
Montana State is 8-0 so far this season and are coming off a 6-3 victory over the University of Montana their last time out. The Bobcats have outscored their opponents 36-8 in their first eight games this year.
