Box Score HAVRE, Mont. – The University of Providence volleyball program fell 3-0 to #10 Montana Tech Friday night.
In the first set Montana Tech (18-3) jumped out to an early 5-1 lead but kills by junior

Martyna Fiedler tied the match at five. Both sides would go back and forth until the Orediggers scored four in a row to take a 22-18 lead. Montana Tech would score three of the last six to take the set 25-21.
Neither team could gain a lead of more than three in the second set until the Argos (12-8) scored four of five points to take an 8-4 lead. Montana Tech would respond scoring five straight points to retake the lead 11-10. There would be five more ties until the Orediggers scored the last seven of eight points to win the set 25-21
In the third set the Argos got out to a 6-3 lead behind a kill from senior
Zoe Naugle. Montana Tech would respond by scoring five of the next six to retake the lead 8-7. The match would see five ties before a kill by junior
Nina Janjic gave UP a 20-18 advantage. The match would be tied at 24, 25, 26, and 27 before the Orediggers scored the final two points to take the set 29-27 and the match 3-0.
The Argos will be back in action Oct. 27 when they host Carroll College. The match is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. in the McLaughlin Center. Â Â
