Box Score OLYMPIA, Wash. -- The University of Providence women's soccer program tied The Evergreen State College 0-0 Saturday afternoon. 

The Argos (2-11-2) threatened early in the 5^th minute, but sophomore Kailey Camper's shot was saved by the goalkeeper.

UP had another chance in the 43^rd minute but junior Mel Alvarado Lopez's shot could not get past the Geoducks (2-9-2) defense. The Argos out shot the Geoducks 6-5 in the first half.

The Argos pressured early in the second half, but freshman Peyton Lathrop was unable to find the go-ahead goal.  

Despite both teams threatening late, neither team was able to capitalize as the match ended in a 0-0 tie. Both teams had four shots in the second half.  

The Argos return to action on Friday, Oct. 27 when they host Carroll College. The first touch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. in Great Falls, Mont.
