GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- The University of Providence women's basketball program heads to Lebanon, Tenn. for the Cumberland Classic on Nov. 10 and Nov. 11. UP will face Lindsey Wilson College on Friday and will play Cumberland University on Saturday. Both games will take place in Dallas Floyd Phoenix Arena.

Head coach Bill Himmelberg on this weekend's matchups stated, "We are looking forward to facing some quality opponents this week. I'm optimistic with the improvements we have been making in practice and am excited to see how we implement them onto the court."

Last Time Out
The Argos went 2-0 at the Holiday Inn Classic defeating Northwest University 81-52 and defeating Corban University 66-57. In the victory over Corban, senior Maddy Dixon led the way for the Argos putting up 19pts, 6ast, and 6reb.

Season Leaders
Graduate transfer Ashlee Maldonado is the Argos leading scorer and assist getter so far this season averaging 17pts and 5.7ast per game. Freshman Keanna Salave'a has the most rebounds with 9.3 per game, and she is also second on the team in points averaging 16.3. Defensively, senior Kolby Pimperton leads the Argos averaging 3.7 steals per game.

Lindsey Wilson
The Blue Raiders are 2-0 so far this season defeating Indiana Southeast 107-70 and defeating Johnson University 81-75. This will be the first matchup in program history between UP and Lindsey Wilson.

Cumberland University
The Phoenix are 2-1 so far this season and are coming off a 72-53 victory over Taylor University their last time out. This will be the second matchup between the Argos and Cumberland with UP winning the first meeting 59-36 in 2017.   

How to Watch
The Argos will tip off against Lindsey Wilson at 4pm on Nov. 10 and will face Cumberland University at Noon on Nov. 11.
