Box Score GREAT FALLS, MONT. – Courtesy of a second half comeback the University of Providence women's soccer program picked up their first win of the season 4-2 versus Northwestern College.

The Raiders (0-1) jumped out in front after Aliza Edwards corralled the loose ball and beat the goalie to make it 0-1. The Argos (1-1) kept the offensive pressure throughout the first half taking a total of 12 shots compared to the Raiders seven.

Even with the shot differential, the Raiders capitalized with two minutes remaining in the half when Julie Dunlap scored on a penalty kick to increase their lead to two.

The Argos came out of the half on fire before sophomore Kailey Camper put one into the box and junior Malan Flygare scored her first goal of the season in the 53rd minute to make it 1-2.

Three minutes later UP found the equalizer when Flygare put another one into the back of the net off a perfectly timed rebound to make it 2-2. Flygare, on her two goals in three minutes stated, "I just had to be calm on the ball and I'm happy my teammates played it in to give me a chance."

UP would not stop there, scoring again in the 75th minute when Camper went down the sideline for junior Rane Jackson who's cross was received by sophomore Dani Waialeale who scored to put the Argos ahead 3-2.

Six minutes later, on Jackson's seventh shot of the game she found the back of the net to add to the second half scoring outburst to make it 4-2. Jackson, on finally finding the back of the net stated, "I had about five chances before that were easy tap ins that I missed, and I chose the breakaway small angle to finish and once it hit the post, I was just really hoping that it was going in and lucky for me, it did." The Argos took 28 shots compared to 11 by Northwestern College.

The Argos will be back in action on Aug. 31 when they travel to Cheney, Wash. to face Eastern Washington University at the EWU Soccer Field. The first touch is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. (MST).
