GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- The University of Providence men's soccer team travels to Billings, Mont. for their conference opener against Rocky Mountain College on Sept. 15. The first touch is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Wendy's Field.

Last Time Out
The Argos visited Billings, Mont. where they defeated the University of Jamestown 1-0. UP kept the match tied early with a defensive save by junior Zach Reese. Freshman Hugo Gil would score his first career goal in the 63^rd minute that would be the difference maker for the Argos. 

Season Leaders
UP currently has a six-way tie for goal scoring leader with freshman Geovanni Lugo, Eduardo Sidoine, Rylan Pate, Liam Vaux, Jose Vasquez, and Gil all with one. Vasquez is the shot leader for the Argos with six and senior Tomeu Nebot Schmalfeld and Gil have one assist apiece. In goal, freshman Thomas Sine and Teddy Benbow are tied with 13 saves each so far this season.

Rocky Mountain College
This will be the 28^th matchup since 2009 between the Argos and the Battlin' Bears. Last year RMC defeated UP 4-1 in their lone meeting of 2022. RMC is 2-0-2 on the season thus far, coming off a 3-2 victory over the University of Jamestown their last time out.
