Box Score DILLON, Mont. – The University of Providence volleyball program fell 3-2 in a five-set thriller to Rocky Mountain College Thursday night.
RMC (9-4) got off to a hot start taking a 14-9 lead early in the first set. The Argos (7-5) would respond by scoring the next three points to bring the set within two, but the Battlin' Bears would pull away to take the first set 25-18.
In the second set RMC jumped out to a 8-3 lead and would not look back winning the second set 25-15.
The third set was back and forth until the Battlin' Bears scored six of eight points to take a 13-8 lead. The Argos would cut into the lead scoring four of five points to bring the RMC lead to one. UP would continue to roll scoring six straight points to take a 23-19 lead behind three kills by junior

Allyah Tokelau made it eight straight points for the Argos as they took the third set 25-19.
UP kept the momentum going in the fourth set getting out to a 7-3 lead behind two kills each from junior
Nina Janjic and Tokelau. RMC would not go quietly, scoring 10 of 14 points to tie the match at 23. UP would respond with a kill by Hoerner and an ace by freshman
Ellie Carlson to win the fourth set 25-23. Janjic and Tokelau led the way for the Argos in the fourth with four kills apiece.
In the deciding set, both teams would trade points until five straight points by RMC gave the Battlin' Bears a 12-9 lead. The Argos would answer back with three straight of their own including back-to-back kills by Janjic to tie the match at 12. The match would be tied at 13 and 14 before RMC had two kills in a row to take the final set 16-14.
The Argos will be back in action tomorrow with two more matches at the Frontier Conference Preview. UP faces Carroll College at 1 p.m. and Montana Western at 6 p.m. at Straugh Gymnasium in Dillon, Mont. Â
