MISSOULA, Mont, -- The University of Providence's men's and women's cross-country programs traveled to Missoula, Mont. for the University of Montana Invitational at the University Golf Course.
The first collegiate runner across the finish line for the women and taking home the individual title was Kyla Chirstopher-Moody from Montana State who finished the 5k course in 22:40.4. The only Argo runner competing today for the women was freshman
Kelsey Plymale who finished at 20:16.02.
On the men's side the first runner to finish was Matthew Richtman of Montana State who finished the 8k course in 24:04.69. The Argos had three athletes running with junior
Ciaran Molloy finishing first at 27:02.99 and freshman
Zoran LaFrombois shortly after at 28:09.78. In freshman
Brandon Clingan's first collegiate race he finished in 30:38.51.
The Argos will be back in action on Friday, Oct. 6, when they travel to Billings, Mont. The women will start at 11:00 a.m. and the men will follow at 11:45 a.m.
