GREAT FALLS, Mont, -- The University of Providence's men's and women's cross-country programs head to Billings, Mont. for the Frontier Conference Championship on Friday. The women will begin at 10:30 a.m. and the men will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Amend Park.
The runners on the women's side for UP will be junior
Kelsey Stensland-Plymale, junior
Savannah Ivins, sophomores
Havyn Vandenacre and
Mackenzie Layng, and freshman
Olivia Pfile,
Mia Clendennen, and
Kate Johanson.
The runners on the men's side for UP will be sophomore
Zoran LaFrombois, juniors
Joe Gilman and
Juan Alonzo, freshman
Kyler Harris and Reece Graves, and senior Aidan McDaniel.
This will be the first Frontier Conference Championship since 2023 when the Argos saw Stensland-Plymale finish in eighth place and qualify for the 2023 National Championships. Stensland-Plymale is the Argos program record holder in the 6K when she beat her own record at the Frontier Conference Preview Meet this season on Oct. 10.
