GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- The University of Providence volleyball program visits Montana State University Northern for a midweek conference matchup on Wednesday, Sept. 27. The match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at the Armory Gymnasium in Havre, Mont.  

Head Coach Arunas Duda on the matchup stated, "After battling against Tech last week at home, I am excited to see how we will respond on the road this week. We have had some solid practices lately and talked a lot about facing adversity, fighting through tough spots, and always giving our best effort. I feel as though we are in a much better place this week facing MSUN than we were in the preseason tournament, and I hope that shows in the results. As our team gains chemistry, continues to mature, and learns how to battle together we will continue to be a tougher and tougher matchup for everyone."

Last Time Out
The Argos fell 3-1 to #11 Montana Tech in their first conference match. Despite winning the second set to tie the match at one game apiece, the Orediggers took the final two sets. Senior Jenna Thorne and juniors Nina Janjic and Allyah Tokelau each had 10 kills.

Stat Leaders
The Argos lead attacker so far this season has been junior Nina Janjic. Janic has 195 kills so far this season which places her 48^th in the NAIA. UP also has a setter in the top 100 for assists in junior Nati Slazynska with 339 placing her 89^th in the NAIA. Defensively, junior Taylor Christensen has tallied 270 digs placing her 51^st in the NAIA. Redshirt freshman Cabry Taylor and senior Zoe Naugle have 56 and 54 total blocks placing them 47^th and 52^nd in the NAIA.

Opponents
This will be the second matchup this season between the Argos and the Northern Lights with MSUN winning the first meeting 3-0 on Sept. 16. MSUN is 8-8 so far this season and are coming off a 3-0 loss to Montana Western their last time out.
