GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- The University of Providence women's basketball program is back in Great Falls for a conference match up versus Montana Western. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Jan. 13 in the McLaughlin Center.  

Last Time Out  

The Argos defeated #12 Rocky Mountain College in their second ranked Frontier Conference game in a row. Graduate transfer Ashlee Maldonado led the way for the Argos pouring in 33 points and snagging 3 steals. 

Season Leaders  

Maldonado is the Argos leading scorer and assist getter so far this season, averaging 18.5pts and 4.3ast per game. Freshman Keanna Salave'a has the most rebounds with 11.2 per game, and she is also second on the team in points averaging 14.4. Defensively, Maldonado leads the Argos averaging 1.8 steals per game.    

Montana Western 

The Argos have lost three straight versus Montana Western with their last win coming on 2/10/2022 in Dillon, Mont. In their last 10 matchups the Argos have evenly split 5-5 with the Bulldogs. Montana Western is 9-6 so far this season and are coming off a 81-72 loss to #5 Carroll College their last time out.
